Evoking European precision

Stéphane Yerly, a master cabinetmaker originally from Switzerland, decided to open his kitchen design, manufacturing and installation workshop in the Saguenay region. The workshop, which we've named Cuisinø, sees the kitchen as the heart of a house. It sees it as beautiful, welcoming and fundamentally ergonomic.

At the same time, the workshop wishes to bring Swiss quality and perfectionism to their creations. The logotype we developed is embodied in a geometric and structuring gesture that channels the modern tone of the brand. The perfectly circular layout of the letter C and the letter O, found throughout the logotype, subtly reveals the symmetry present in the spelling of the name. The crossed out O refers to the Scandinavian style of their kitchens.

The typeface attributed to the brand is distinguished by a subtle ink trap with a soft edge. In addition, its fundamentally Swiss design naturally echoes the Swiss spirit of the workshop's founder.

The visual universe of Cuisinø also exploits a series of geometric devices. They serve to accommodate and organize the photographic and typographic elements between them, while metaphorically evoking the idea of plans, calculations and precision: attributes inseparable from the workshop.
